I miss my BLOG!!

I love to blog!  Its my sanity sometimes, my journal always, and a great outlet to do some of my favorite things, write, and take and display PICTURES!  However, I've been traveling and working and going and doing and wishing I could write about it so bad!!  So, if a miracle happens, I may find time to go back and update, but for now I have to write a few recent things too.

1st- yesterday I MOWED MY FIRST LAWN EVER!  ALL BY MYSELF!

Yeah!  Even my shoes turned green... first time ever from mowing my own lawn :)

This is BIG news okay - I did it for my busy hubby and I felt like a woman let me tell you!  It reminded me almost of fixing my garbage disposal alone......ALMOST.

2nd- I am a stinkin GENIUS!  OK, lets back up here.  First, while in Utah last month, my sister and mother, and myself were at a gourmet cookie shop in the gateway mall.  I had the best ever shortbread-like cookie and happened to want one on Sunday.  So, I searched for what I HOPED would be a similar, thick, sugar cookie slash shortbread recipe, made up some frosting, and put a similar jam topping, and WA LA!!  COMPLETE SUCCESS!!  I AM A GENIUS I TELL YOU!  I NAILED IT!  And I really want to make them as gifts as I had told my mom I was going to do by darn it :)
